Jessica made me cry

American Idol fans are on their feet to find out who would make it to the TOP 3 and of course, who would become this year’s American Idol. I do not watch the program regularly but I know just by looking at the news feed on my Facebook account that Jessica Sanchez is doing very well. I’ve seen her performances and I must agree that she’s really good!

But not for any other reviews, I just want to share how listening her singing Dance with my Father made me cry!!!! huhuhu. Everybody has parents biologically. For some who didn’t know who their parents were because of some traumatic experience, they probably have a guardian or adoptive parents who stood as their guide. And I believe that LOVE is a universal feeling. And oh yeah, Jessica hit the heart of the listeners because she sang this perfectly with feelings.

Whether you have a father or not, it is a strong feeling knowing that there is someone who could be the father described in this song.

A hooola party

The temperature outside is outrageous! I couldn’t thank my air conditioner enough for bringing me the best comfort through these kind of times. Its really a relief too when you beat the heat by swimming to a cool water whether it be your shower, a pool, or the beach.

Of course, almost all of my barkada were present when we were invited to the first birthday of Saav. Every child is definitely special and birthdays are one occasion that should not be missed. Most specially this one (because it’s a pool party!). Okay, this is not for my pleasure but for Megan of course! I’ve already had my share of sunburns and till now, I have patches of discoloration on my shoulders and legs! So much for bathing in Boracay and Puerto Galera huh.

And above is a picture of our growing barkada. It’s always a blessing to have friends with you then, NOW, and decades more. Happy Birthday Saav!

A bag of Chocolates and Smiles

April has got to be the busiest month of this year... And I am so well aware that there are blog entries that I should have done on my out of town trips but procrastination is my best friend too this month. Yet, no matter how busy life gets, we should always remember to give time to true friends. Apart from a career that you can work hard on, money that you can find ways to create, there is time that should be spent on PEOPLE (not telenovelas), on creating more memories for these memories tell us how we've been living our life.

Friday is the usual gimik time for me too! My highschool friend is ending his month long vacation here and will be back in the US. And though it was only a night, we all had our laughs like we were back in highschool again.


This treat even had perks!!! He brought chocolates for the Barkada babies. We were excited to get loot bags. Putting chocolates inside it was the highlight of the dinner.

With these smiles, I can definitely attest to the power of chocolates in making one happy! And most importantly, having true friends makes you one of the wealthiest people on earth.
